Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Newsette mobile app, website, news summaries, or Newsette Pro subscription.

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Using Newsette

By using Newsette, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live; if you are a minor, use Newsette only with a parent or guardian's permission.

News summaries and attribution

Newsette provides short summaries of reporting from third-party publishers. Each story is attributed to its source and links to the original article. Publishers retain rights in their original reporting and websites.

Summaries are provided for general information and may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors. Confirm important details with the original publisher. Newsette is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other specialist advice.

Acceptable use

You may use Newsette for personal, non-commercial reading. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation or security, bypass access limits, scrape or copy it at scale, reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits, or use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

Newsette Pro subscriptions

Newsette Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. The price, billing period, and any trial or offer terms shown in the app-store purchase screen apply to your purchase. Your app-store account is charged when you confirm the purchase and at each renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can manage or cancel through your Google Play or Apple App Store subscription settings. Deleting Newsette does not cancel a subscription. Refunds, taxes, billing disputes, and store eligibility are handled under the applicable app store's rules. Paid features may change, but we will not remove access you have already paid for during the active billing period without a valid operational or legal reason.

Intellectual property

Newsette's app, website, branding, design, software, and original summaries are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership to you.

Third-party services

Newsette links to publishers and relies on services such as app stores and subscription providers. We do not control third-party content, availability, terms, or practices, and are not responsible for losses caused by your use of those third-party services.

Availability and termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of Newsette to maintain or improve the service, respond to security or legal needs, or address circumstances outside our control. We may restrict access when these terms are materially violated. You may stop using Newsette at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Newsette is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free. Newsette will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Newsette changes. Revised terms will be posted here with a new date, and material changes will be highlighted when appropriate. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply. Questions can be sent to support@newsette.app.
